THINGS YOU SHOULD KEEP IN YOUR VEHICLE

ALWAYS BE PREPARED!

FIRST AID KIT - If you put your own kit together, make sure none of the items are in glass bottles or vials - pit them in plastic containers with tight lids or plastic zip lock bags. Your first aid kit "must haves" should include the following:

• Absorbent Compress Dressings
• Adhesive Bandages (assorted sizes)
• Adhesive Cloth Tape
• Antibiotic Ointment Packets
• Antiseptic Wire Packets
• Packets of Aspirin
• Blanket (Space blankets are best)
• Breathing Barrier with one way valve
• Instant Cold Compress
• Non-Latex Gloves
• Hydrocortisone Ointment Packets
• Scissors
• Roller Bandage
• Sterile Gauze Bandages
• Oral Thermometer (Get disposable)
• Triangular Bandages
• Tweezers
• First Aid Instruction Booklet

Your vehicle should also have an Emergency Vehicle Tool Kit with:

• A couple of screwdrivers - a flat head and Phillips
• Pliars
• Set of Socket Wrenches (Metric or Standard, depending on your vehicle)
• Duct Tape
• Electrical Tape
• Flashlight with extra batteries
• Small Fire Extinguisher
• Jumper Cables
• Fix a Flat Tire Repair

Make sure your jack and lug wrench are in the vehicle and that you know where they and your spare tire are located. Make sure the spare tire is inflated to it's proper pressure.
